Lidar

In this photo we tested the "Lidar Camera" attached to the Husky in a Gazebo environment of Cal State Northridge's Jacaranda Hall ,third floor. After running the explore lite for approximately 20 minutes, we are able to construct a map of that is quite accurate, however, with this implementation, obstructions such as smoke might interfere with the construction of the map.

Stereo Image Proc

In this photo we tested the "Stereo Camera" attached to the Husky in a Gazebo environment of Cal State Northridge's Jacaranda Hall ,third floor. After running the explore lite for approximately 20 minutes, we are able to construct a map of that is not as accurate as the lidar, however, with this implementation, obstructions such as smoke do not interfere with the construction of the map, which is a valuable trade-off.
