Rosbridge

Rosbridge allows non-Ros users to communicate with Ros through a websocket connection. It allows bidirectional communication in the form of JSON messages.

Installation

Open up a terminal window and enter

sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-rosbridge-server

Follow the tutorial from starting from section 0.1 Running Rosbridge at http://wiki.ros.org/rosbridge_suite/Tutorials/RunningRosbridge
