AMI Setup

For the simulation to run properly, the OGRE graphics engine requires a target. A target is usually a display. This target is found through X11. This is a problem for the regular Ubuntu 16.04 instance, as there is no GUI. To make this happen as quickly as possible, an AMI was bought via the AWS marketplace that has a GUI already setup as well as a VNC server. The AMI used is found here.

VNC

In order to view the GUI, you must VNC into the server. To do this a vnc client must be downloaded. The VNC client E2SH used was Real VNC Viewer, found here. From the AWS security group, forward port 5901. On the VNC viewer app itself, use <Elasitic IP>:5901 as the VNC server IP. Use the instance ID as the password.
